Many people can benefit from regular sauna sessions, including those with chronic diseases such as fibromyalgia; people with skin conditions; athletes and fitness enthusiasts; and stress-prone individuals.
Traditional saunas function by raising the temperature of the skin's surface, subsequently warming the underlying muscles and tissues. In contrast, infrared saunas utilize infrared energy to directly heat the skin, tissues, and muscles, eliminating the necessity to significantly heat the surrounding air.
The Sweaty GOAT Sauna can reach your desired temperature in 20 to 25 minutes. You can use the hybrid control panel to turn on the sauna at a selected time to the last set temperature. When using the reservation mode, the sauna will turn on for 30 minutes. You will need to reset the timer to your desired session time.
You can set the sauna to a temperature between 80 degrees Fahrenheit and 150 degrees Fahrenheit. Using the temperature up and down buttons, you can change the temperature in 5-degree intervals.
The length of time you should stay in a sauna will vary from person to person. Factors that will influence the duration of your sauna sessions are whether you are heat adapted, personal heat tolerance, and health conditions. You should start with shorter sessions and gradually increase as you become more heat-adapted.
It's important to pay attention to your body's signals. Be sure to stay hydrated by drinking water before and after your sauna session. If you have any health concerns or medical conditions, talk to a healthcare professional before using the sauna.
