What should I expect upon delivery?

With White Glove delivery (standard with all Valaris models), the freight company will contact you via email. A two-man team will arrive at your doorstep, based on an agreed-upon appointment time. These professionals are equipped to maneuver the tub into place, as long as it remains on a single level. Keep in mind, should your delivery require more than the standard two-man effort, you will be responsible for any additional fees charged by the freight company.

What are the electrical requirements?

The Valaris contrast therapy tub from Michael Phelps Chilly GOAT Cold Tubs requires 240V service. Master Spas recommends hiring a licensed electrician.

Getting the hot tub portion of the unit involved a lot more troubleshooting that I would have hoped, but after getting it up and running we are very satisfied with our purchase of the Chily Goat Valaris!

Delivery and Set up Challenges

It would be very helpful if you would offer a delivery service that would put the tub in place and set it up. It is not practical for a homeowner to move a 1000lb. Piece of equipment.

More importantly, when you send out the set up videos, you MUST HAVE different ones for the Volaris because there are differences. Just one example is that the video you sent me say to “just plug it in.” After hours of trying to find a plug and finally getting in touch with your staff did we learn that there IS NO PLUG on the Volaris. It would have been great to have specific Volaris setup instructions sent to me. Plus, it would have been nice to know I needed to set up an electrician prior to the tub being delivered.
